Reflection:
I don’t often get too excited about good healing, but this one gives me great satisfaction, as it took me ages and quite a few burs to drill through the core and remove all the posts. I can imagine that few dentists would deem this tooth as worthwhile saving as conventional wisdom (as Stella recommended!) would suggest crown removal, post core removal, retreatment, then a new post-core and crown. But that seems to have been achieved in a fraction of the time and cost.
